World Aids Day, December 1.
Today in your spare time, remember all of those lives lost to HIV and AIDS. You can make a difference in the global fight against HIV and AIDS.
World AIDS Day isn't just about one day. With infection rates continuing to rise globally there is a great deal still to do, so get involved. HIV is one of the biggest social, economic and health challenges in the world.
It is a global emergency claiming over 8,000 lives every day. In fact 5 people die of AIDS every minute. Young people (under 25 years old) account for half of all new HIV infections worldwide - around 6,000 become infected with HIV every day. During 2007 more than two and a half million adults and children became infected with HIV. By the end of the year, an estimated 33 million people worldwide were living with HIV/AIDS.
The year also saw two million deaths from AIDS, despite recent improvements in access to antiretroviral treatment. Despite best efforts from governments, non-profit organizations and healthcare practitioners around the world, HIV and AIDS is still having huge global impact. More than 25 million people have died of AIDS since 1981.
But still, the great question remains.
What can we do?
What can we do to fight this plague?
My opinion is that we can do one single and simple thing.
Know about HIV and AIDS.
Not just get informed about, but really know.
Aquire the knowledge of what is HIV and how it works.
Get to know the virus as you want to know the enemy you fight in a battle.
Get to know the disease, AIDS. What it means. How it presents and what are the symptoms.
Do not say "i am not a doctor" or "this is not my job" or "i do not care".
Is our responsibility, our duty and right to know, to learn.
Do not let your future be guided by others.
Search and read about HIV and AIDS.
Not only the so called official sides.
It is well known, although not admitted, that a "medical lobby"exists and paid to protect and justify the dark, covered and inhuman practises of pharmaceutical companies.
It's so unspeakable the things and ways they elaborate to sell drugs.
Profit, Power, Control are their goals.
Do not dismiss the questions you have. Ask them and try to find the answers.
Do not let others to serve you the answers they want.
That's what you have to do.
Question every answer you come across and let your instinct filter them.
And again, search not just the official sites and sides.
There are noble scientists who work independently. Researchers who are not paid by the official "status quo" and who are not bound by checks. Scholars that respect humans and serve our Planet, serve Nature, serve Humanity.
There are not just few. There are many. They produce results, they propose solutions, they fight for our sake against the poisonous heads of pharmaceutical Hydra.
Find them. Read them. Ask them.
Let them tell you what they know.
Knowledge. Real and Naturally driven knowledge is the solution.
When you really Know then you can act.
I am confident that when you will know the truth and real knowledge (not some info) will enter you, then you will know exactly what to do.
In remembrance of those who died of AIDS, and for our Future.
